Sigurd’s Sensational Side Quests is a collection of 5 fun, easy-to-run adventures for 1st to 4th level characters. My goal with each of these adventures is to provide the DM everything they need to run a fun, memorable session with minimal prep with everything needed on just 2 pages.
Designed to be run in a single 2-3 hour session, each adventure can be dropped into a larger campaign as a quick, easy way to add depth and variety to your game. Or they can be run as quick, fun one-shots.
Each Side Quest includes:
- Adventure hook and backstory designed to help set the mood and get the adventure going.
- Maps – A DM map detailing all the information about the encounters and features of each area plus a zip file containing variations of each map formatted specifically for VTT play.
- Encounters – Every area of each map contains a concise, detailed listing of the encounter in that particular space.
- Stat Blocks – Full stat blocks for each monster/npc that appears in that particular scenario.

- Maps suitable for VTT use are included for each adventure
- Each map comes in 4 variations: With grid and without grid in both decorated and undecorated variations
- Each map is based on a 1 inch grid
Side Quests in this volume:
- Mage Bane Hideout – Help a mage guild by putting a stop to a band of assasins who specialize in killing magic users.
- The Well – A childs call for help from a long abandoned well is not what it seems.
- Starfall Caverns – Strange creatures have been spotted in the area of a crashed meteor.
- Where’s the Beef? – Livestock has been disappearing but local ranchers fear it is something far more dangerous than mere cattle rustlers.
- The Wizard’s Tower Inn – A trio of friends plan on converting an old abandoned wizard’s tower they just bought into an inn. The only problem is the former occupant seems to have left behind a few of his pet projects in the cellar.
